The Vomit Arsonist started back in 2001, simply out of boredom. I originally started doing this project because I wanted to make music so terrible that no one would possibly want to listen to it. Well, as it turns out, people will listen to anything, and I actually found people that enjoyed what I did. Essentially, it's a joke taken too far. Primarily, I play guitar in the band Tragedie Ann... The Vomit Arsonist is just something I do on the side. My music is all over the electronic spectrum, ranging from earbleed power electronics, to powernoise, to hard industrial, and even a small amount of IDM here and there. The reason it's a small amount is because I'm horrendus when it comes to programming really complex stuff. My main influences are artists like Winterkalte, Mike Patton, Cybernetic:Fuckheadz, Config.sys, Feindflug, Merzbow, Iszoloscope, P.A.L., Masonna, Mono No Aware, NKVD, etc. To create my sound, I utilize the following tools: two microphones, a circuit bent AM/FM radio, Schecter Diamond Series 7 String Guitar, a Hondo Bass, an old-as-dirt Lafayette turntable, a Crate CMX52 8-Channel Mixer, and the following stomp boxes: BOSS DD-5 Digital Delay, DOD FX33 Buzz Box, Ibanez IM7 Smash Box, Ibanez Black Noise Soundtank, BOSS BF-3 Flanger, BOSS CE-5 Chorus Ensemble, and a DOD FX80-B Compressor.
A QUICK EXPLANATION OF "ALBUMS"
Over the past few years, I've "released" a few things. The reason I put released in quotes is because I've never actually mass produced anything; I basically just burn CD's for friends and people that want to hear my shit. Below, you will find a list of my "albums" and their tracklists. For the record, I am working on getting a CD released - for real - called Loose Girls Make the Best Wives. It will be available for download on the Traumatic Creations website. Or, if you're feeling up for it, you can contact me and get a CD copy with full artwork AND an extra track that won't be available for download. Perhaps one day, the older best of the old material will be released on something, but as of now, that doesn't look too promising. On to the releases...
